Do you promote your art, your exhibits, and your artistic achievements via social media platforms? Do you want to but are concerned about protecting your work online and not losing its value?

This session will look at the legal and business considerations of putting your art online using the newest social media platforms. We will begin with an overview of the most popular social media sites for artists and then review some legal cases and laws to explore key points you can apply strategically. Creative commons license, crowd sourcing and crowd funding opportunities for artists will be discussed.

A briefing will begin the session for 45 mins followed by 45 minutes of Q&A.
