Let me tell you about TBBCAtl and ArtIsKing.org

Blackbookevent

My wife Aisha and I have been producing art exhibits (Mano A Mano Art
Shows) for years in Atlanta and we were in the planning phase of
putting together workshops to answer all the questions we get from
artists on a regular basis; a workshop for artists where we can share
some tips on becoming a successful artist.

Our first step was to catalog the art stories of some of Atlanta's
Great Artists giving their advice to up and coming artists. We have
filmed James Eugene, Fahamu Pecou, Neal Hamilton, Jovanny Cruz, Jason
Thomas, Monica Singer, Gerzon Rodriguez, Justin Anderson, Andre Moore,
Jody Harris, Miles Davis and Tela Hubbard and more.

A friend and great Atlanta Artist, Swade (@mrwade1966) was busy
involved with artists in his hometown of Toledo and they had an artist
get together called Attack of the Black Book.

One day, while I was offering free advice to an up-and-coming artist,
another great Atlanta Artist, FlavaDave (@artstarrep) offered to help
do a workshop to touch on some business subjects that some artists
need to hear.

I invited artists Jason Thomas, Swade and FlavaDave to an early
BrainStorm Session and it didn't take long to realize we were all
going to collaborate on this idea. We are all involved for the love of
art.

Through some of my networking connections with the technology industry
I was able to secure a spot at Hypepotamus (@hypepotamus) at GA Tech
and Binders Art School to hold our workshops.

The Black Book Conversations were born.
